I became a single mom with four children. My parents both passed away when I was young. We were now alone and I struggled to pay my bills and rent. We lost our housing and ended up in a shelter. I was desperate for help, I just couldn’t make it on my own. “I remarried but almost immediately my new husband became verbally, mentally and physically abusive. I learned too late that I had married the wrong guy... The San Clemente Historical Society will be having a meeting on Sunday, December 11 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM in the Ole Hanson Fireside Room of the Community Center, 100 N. Calle Seville. Society president, Raad Ghantous will present a history of the Miramar Theater followed by a presentation of the proposed rehabilitation and adaptive reuse of the Theater and bowling alley. The public is invited.
